​Stop-N-Go Driving School was opened by Rafael Mendez in May of 2017 for the purpose of educating young teens and adults in the art of driving safely. Stop-N-Go Driving is school is licensed and bonded as required by the State of Texas.

Stop-N-Go Driving School strives to give the best classroom and driving education to teens and adults. We strive to provide our students with the knowledge and skills needed to put them safely on the road.

Rafael Mendez

Owner/Instructor

Mr. Mendez is a certified Driver’s Education Instructor. He has 26 years of teaching experience and is currently teaching at Mercedes High School in Mercedes Texas where he teaches Criminal Justice. Prior to teaching, Mr. Mendez was a Correctional officer for nine years for the State of Texas and a police officer with the University of Texas – Pan American in Edinburg Texas for four years.
